Tools. Apps. Gear.
I've spent a little too much time and money on perfecting my setup. As of right now, I can't find anything else to spend my money on so this is it. Here you can find all the software, hardware, and gear that I use on a daily basis.
Desk
- Desktop - I have a custom-built desktop with an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor, 64GB of RAM. For graphics, I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 and two AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTs, AMD for linux and NVIDIA for Windows gaming.
- Framework Laptop 13" (2025) - Framework is the company that makes the most modular and repairable laptop. I have the 13" model with an Intel Ultra processor.
- ROG Strix XG27ACD - A beautiful 2K monitor with a 360Hz refresh rate.
Keyboard
- Custom Built Lily 58 - The single most beautiful keyboard I ever made.
Coding
- OS: NixOS - I use NixOS on my desktop and Framework Laptop. I love the declarative configuration and the reproducibility it provides.
- Neovim - I use Neovim for all my coding sessions. I have a custom configuration that you can find on my GitHub.
- Catppuccin Mocha - The best color scheme for coding. I use it everywhere, from my terminal to my code editor - even my entire desktop using Hyprland!.
Terminal
- Kitty - Easy, Fast, and with a great set of features. I use it as my main terminal on NixOS.
Apps
- Brave - The first thing I install on any new device.
- Obsidian - I use Obsidian to take notes and keep track of all my ideas. I have a custom setup with a lot of plugins that you can find on my GitHub.
- Discord - I use Discord for work and to stay in touch with friends, of course I have notifications turned off.
- Spotify - I have a cracked version of Spotify that I use to listen to music. I don't like ads and I don't want to pay for a subscription - sue me.
Services
- Proton - The entire proton suite is a must
Audio
- Airpods Pro 2nd Gen - Small, comfortable, and with great sound quality. I use them for everything, from listening to music to taking calls.
